Speakers:

Carol L. Ginsburg is a managing director with BST America a global Market Data and Information Consulting and Outsourcing firm. She spent most of her career with a Global Bank, located in New York, where she was a Managing Director responsible for the global strategy, management and operations of Business Information Services. Her global organization provided and supported electronic information and desktop services to bankers, acted as a consultant on information projects and trained bankers in using information effectively and economically. She was responsible for evaluating, selecting and sourcing appropriate content for both internet and intranet applications.

She is the recipient of many industry awards. She is a Fellow of the Special Libraries Association (SLA) and a recipient of the SLA Hall of Fame Award and President’s Award and the Factiva Leadership award bestowed upon an individual who has shown competencies in all facets of information provision and leadership in the industry. She has written numerous articles and has lectured widely on topics such as, product usage, marketing, technology and the future of the information professional.

Willem Noorlander has served in domestic and international positions with several global banks and consulting firms and has a wide range of experience in the Financial and Information industries.

His long term experience and background includes finance/accounting, operational management, risk management and general management. During the last 20 years he has focused on information management, including in-depth knowledge of usage requirements, information sourcing and contract negotiations.

He is an active member of SLA and served as Treasurer of the NY Chapter. His work on the NY Chapter’s Centennial Year included raising over $140,000 for programs and scholarships. He was the recipient of the 2008 Special Achievement Award from the NY Chapter of SLA. He is currently a member of the SLA Finance Committee and chair of Vendor Relations for LMD.

Bill is a Principal in BST America, a Content Management Consulting , Recruiting and Outsourcing firm, located in New York city. In his current role he is the Partner in charge of BST’s Content Management consultancy.
